Konnichiwa! The 2022 Asia Pacific Conference on Curriculum Studies and Instructional Designing (APCCSID) was jointly hosted by the Asia Pacific Research Association on Curriculum Studies (APRACSI), Japan Curriculum Research and Development Association (JCRDA), United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization International Bureau of Education (UNESCO IBE), and Hiroshima University. It took place at Hiroshima University, Japan, from October 28 to 30, 2022. The conference theme, "Curriculum Studies in the Post Pandemic Era: Transforming Education for Sustainable Development," underscores the importance of leveraging experiences during the pandemic to inform decisions aimed at sustainable development in education. The keynote speakers for the event were distinguished experts in education and curriculum, namely Mr. Yao Ydo from UNESCO IBE and Dr. Murray Print from the University of Sydney. Over the course of three days, the conference featured plenary speeches and parallel paper presentations. It adopted a hybrid format, with scholars participating in face-to-face sessions in Japan and an online audience joining from across the Asia Pacific region. The successful collaboration between the esteemed international organizations in hosting the conference reflects its growing influence in the region and beyond.
