The Asia Pacific Research Association on Curriculum Studies, Inc. (APRACSI) started in 2017 as an initiative born from the collective enthusiasm of Curriculum Studies students at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. Aided by their area adviser, this dedicated group envisioned and initiated the Asia Pacific Conference on Curriculum Studies and Instructional Designing (APCCSID) during its formative period. Recognizing the necessity for a robust professional foundation to underpin the conference, APRACSI was subsequently established. At its core, APRACSI is a globally oriented organization with an international board representing diverse countries, particularly from the Asia Pacific region. Comprising professionals in the field of curriculum studies hailing from various educational institutions across different levels, APRACSI has evolved into a dynamic and collaborative community. The organization's overall purpose for its establishment is multi-faceted, aiming not only to facilitate academic discourse in curriculum studies and instructional designing but also to set standards, guide research, and provide valuable services to the broader educational community.
