On March 12 of 2020 the School of Education at the University of Redlands, California USA moved all of its courses from in-person to online like so many institutions of higher education did in response to the COVID19 pandemic. The School of Education strove to use this moment to have faculty use stronger instructional design and theory of curriculum development to guide their practice. This presentation will describe what we did, how we conceptually-grounded our work, and what faculty and students reported about their experience moving to online learning.
